STATEMENT

I am interested in the deep and wide open process of life and all of it's mystery. I am grateful that I can engage the artistic process, this process being all the steps from trying to create something, to what takes place while it is being created, how it is finished and what has been made. Artistic mystery has to do with all the powerful, strange and seductive things I incorporate or do to get the image, those things that I do not always understand, that reason or logic might not disclose. However the process itself delivers rich information, asks wonderful questions and engages me in everything I do.

I love to dream and I am in love with the English Pre-Raphaelite Dreamers. Like the Dreamers I believe I channel subconsciously the details of human conditions and experience, and transform them into metaphor. I like the deep layered stuff. So I pay attention to my lucid dreams, I watch everything carefully and process imagery with mindful attention.

I know that I have to keep creating as it is my guide and well spring of living fully. It has also facilitated ways for me to serve my community and others in need.
